And this is exactly why most startups fail, why most innovation efforts in corporations get their budgets cut, and why many creators become suffering cogs in the wheel. With a slight change in perspective, you can elevate yourself from a simple creator to someone who has a seat at the table and affects change across the highest levels of the organization. In this talk, I’d like to share exactly how I’ve leveraged this shift in perspective to make impactful change as a product designer across companies large and small and in my role as a design founder building and scaling my startup.
